Pricing on a Signature 23FB!
So long time lurker here and we've finally come to the point when we are seriously considering purchasing our trailer.
We have negotiated with a dealer and wonder what your thoughts are on the price - $64,416 off the lot before we pay our state taxes.

Hi from AZ. . . have a friend who bought a 'left over' '15 after '16's came out & said he paid a little less than $62k. . .not sure which 23 it was though, so your price sounds OK. Course for 1/2 that I bought a 5 year old 25 in great shape. . . just sayin' . . .. . Cb

That's not bad either!
I think we'd rather stick with new though - the ducted air really strikes me as a vast improvement over the older model years.
Thanks for the info!

Target pricing should be 80 percent of MSRP, plus standard shipping, or about $62,600 -- you aren't far off this.

What Bob said.....but see what you can do to sweeten the deal with some upgrades. The tires need to be Michelin 15s unless you are sold on the ST specification (there are ST tires with over 65 mph specification). The converter should be a multistage. The battery circuit needs an isolation shutoff switch for storage as parasitic loads remain when in the standard "store" switch position. They will also want to sell you a coating and extended warranty, which are negotiable as to price as well. If your dealer is smart, they can make these adjustments for a cost effective price. If not, you can pick and choose or push out the cost. There are alternative solutions.
Good luck with your negotiations. Pat

Remember, it's getting close to the model year end as the 2017's will be hitting the dealer lots in June. If it were me I'd negotiate offering no less than 80 percent as previously stated however, include everything including freight, free WD hitch set up ( if you need a new hitch buy it online). Dealers will not let you walk out & shop them online as they know many of us buy outside our home state for the best price.

Just my thoughts. We got ours on the last day of September, NOBODY was on the lot, and it was a screaming deal. Got a 2013 Bambi for 25K, and they gave us 11K for our 2007 T@b.
The end of the year deals are the best.

Our local AS dealer doesn't carry much. They seem to stock up on the smaller floor plans or go with 2 Classic 30s and a Pendleton. No 25s, 27s or 28s. I'd be too tempted.

That's an awesome price ... when we were considering the Bambi it was no where close to that price! I have to ask what dealership you went to?!

The one in Washington State, Airstream adventures Northwest. Yes, I never thought that type of deal was possible. But it seems like when you are at the end of the summer, no one on the lots, they are trying to move stuff.
Our T@b sold the day after we traded it in, which was good for them.

So we bought it!
We were supposed to be driving back with the trailer at this very moment. But (isn't there always a but?) the RF break controller we chose - the Tekonsha RF Prodigy - simply wouldn't pair on my Touareg.
How frustrating and disappointing.
So we would up ordering a wired harness and controller just to make the trip back next weekend.
It's an adventure alright!

Congrats!
My wife and I are looking at getting our first RV and we have decided that we like the 23FB IS. Now it is a matter of getting the price right with my local dealer Colonial.
