In the past we had a 2005 Bambi Sport, We just ordered a 27FB International today and were able to secure a order in progress for a late April delivery. We were able to change the order to get some upgrades which include the new hatch door. Took delivery on a F250 (7.3 engine) a couple a days ago. We are excited to get back into the Airstream family.
Similar situation for us. Ordered our new F250 with the 7.3L about three weeks ago, which has a build date of approximately April 12. Then ordered a 2022 28 RB Twin International, which has a build date of September. We can’t wait. We went all in considering this will be our first RV. I hope we like it.

Welcome home!
What is the ETA on the F250? And sounds like you got lucky on the timing of your order. Just curious where you bought it?

I'm sure you will like it!
There is a learning curve but you have come to the right place to get help. Another option would be to find the local unit of the club, Airstream.org. There you will find a lot of folks who would be glad to help with anything you need.

Congratulations on your new 27 FBT International Airstream community. Let the adventure begin. Start making your reservations early for upcoming adventure. See you down the road neighbor. We love our 2018 25 FBT International serenity. Better start thinking of a new name. # The Silver Buffalo 22624
Ron just curious, did they change anything from 21’ to 22’ on the Internationals that you know of?
Color schemes still the same?
Not sure if anything changes for 2022. They weren’t taking any orders for 2021 so we didn’t have a choice. The dealer said that the colour schemes would stay the same since they were recent changes.
so happy for you! We LOVE our 2018 FC 27FBT which is paired with a 2019 King Ranch F250. The seem to be a happy pair as we have put about 17,000 tow miles on in the last 3 seasons.
Enjoy the adventure.

I have had my 2021 7.3L gas F-250 for about 3 months now, towing a 25' flying cloud, and just finished a trip with about 3000 miles of mostly flatland towing (Chicago to South Padre Island and back). I love the truck, the towing stability is fabulous, but I was hoping for slightly better MPG, I really thought the power and torque would help me in some efficiency. I am getting about 9.5MPG on average while towing, I try to stick to about 65mph. For those of you with the same rig (7.3l gas F250) would you mind posting your towing MPG observations ?? I also have the 4.30 rear end, love the responsiveness, but in hindisight I am wondering if I should have gone with the 3.73 so I could have gained the MPG I want.
Not sure about the gas but our 6.7 Power Stroke averaged 20.3 from Santa Barbara to Contra Costa County east of San Francisco. Speed was kept between 55 and 60 Mph Traveled Highway 101 to Highway 46 to Interstate 5 with most of the time spent on I5

Nice looking rig hobby1. We also ordered the twins. Seems to give you more space. Now we patiently wait for delivery.
Thank you!
We've been looking at Airstreams for 15 years.
We hunted for months last year, in OCT we picked up exactly what we were looking for, twins, dual air and solar, in Santa Barbara. The twins just opens up everything. The floor plan seems to creates a lot more space.
It was the last one around and the dealer in Santa Barbara give us a great deal so we bought it over the phone.
For the life of me I cannot figure out the process to turn the dining area into a bed. Seems like we are missing something.... or I just don't get it.

Our new F250 (7.3L) has the 3.55 rear axle. It will be interesting to see the gas MPG towing a 27" AS. We take trailer delivery late April. I'll post results once we accumulate some towing history.
TexasVine - we really like our 2017 Int'l Serenity 27FBT, even though the first owner swapped the dark cushions for lime green. But DW loves the shade. We were originally convinced a 26U was the ticket for us, but glad we spent time on a lot full of different models (back when that was a thing) before we bought this gently used unit.
A couple of upgrades you may think about are gas struts for the cabinet above the fridge so it stays up when opened, and a pair of support hinge stays for the bathroom mirror cabinet. Those were the only two annoyances we experienced in our coach.
