We have solo stove ranger. This model requires smaller chunks of wood rather than fullsize logs but it is lightweight, and with the supplied carry bag, is very easy to transport. The advantage to the solo stove us is that if used correctly, puts off very little smoke, and burns really hot. If you like a real campfire, but that hate the smoke like us, then this unit does not dissappoint

We have a Solo Bonfire & love it. We found traveling that so many firepits are in such dire condition- full to the brim with wet ashes or the metal bent or broken, that we had quit having fires. The Solo is bulky- but not heavy. The fire burns virtually smokeless & hot. It's pricey, but worth the money & the space! Besides, it's a perfect match with the Airstream!
