Newbie and proud Pendleton owner

My hubs and I came home with the Pendleton two weeks ago, and I couldn't be more thrilled to finally become part of the Airstream community. I've wanted one for 20 years, and it took the release of this National Park edition to finally make a move. I love the rustic styling. The texture of the cabinets and flooring is lost in the stock photos. We haven't had any time to stage it and take pictures because we had to store her immediately because of the epic rainstorms and flooding that hit northwest Louisiana this week. So as soon as it clears up (and dries up!) we will post some pictures of our maiden voyage. I'm curious to see in this forum where these will be distributed through the out the country.

Thankful for Airstreamers,

Kelly

Congratulations! I would love to see a Pendleton Edition. The photos look amazing. You know, you are now obligated to visit all National Parks this year in honor of your Pendleton, and 100 years of the "Best idea America ever had!"

Welcome troie99 and congrats
I am a newbie Airstream owner myself. We purchased Pendleton #22 a little while back. Looking forward to enjoying it and dragging it around the southeast. Perhaps we will cross paths one day as we go to Louisiana a bit in our travels (wife is a Tulane grad).

We looked at #44 today in Fort Myers, FL. Don't think we'll pull the trigger tho.

We are picking up #11 next weekend in Columbus Oh. SOOOOO Excited to see it in person. We live in Jackson MS. Plan to take it to all the LSU games - even to Lambeau Field in WI. Let the adventures begin. We hope to cross paths in the near future - plan to join the Baton Rouge WBCCI unit.

We can't wait to get our Pendleton home. Number 62/100; build begins on Monday (3/14). Takes just under five days to build. Hopefully they can transport to TX by the following week. They have huge storage area where new trailers are staged to be transported and cannot quote an exact ship date. I always loved the Eddie Bauer but when we saw the Pendleton in person (You're right; the photos didn't do the design justice) we jumped on it. They're pretty much sold through and will have all 100 constructed by the end of April.

Hope you get a nice dry spell and look forward to seeing some pics.

Well congratulations Kelly. Hope the F-150 wasn't in need of serious repair but glad to see the 3/4 ton Yukon is now the tow vehicle. All 100 of us in this small subset of AS owners will certainly find it easy to identify each other and we are looking forward to getting on the road when the weather is right. We spent the afternoon setting up #006, getting the Polk system App into our phones, letting our dog take a nap on her new Pendleton dog-bed and running through the rest of the trailer controls. Glad to see that you are both as thrilled as we are.

Crossing fingers for you it get there soon.

SrFade There was a ton of things that came with it, weren't there? We are so hot down here all the time I've put the blankets back in a closet. And I'm saving some of the dishes and dog bed in case we ever sell it. We love our fur babies but we won't be taking them with us camping - Dachshund, enough said.

My wife and I went to see the Pendleton that was just delivered to our local dealer (#32 to Sanders in Alachua FL). What a wonderful trailer, as expected. We both agreed that the interior was more attractive in person than the pictures, as others have observed. Had we not purchased an Eddie Bauer just 9 months ago, and if we were not big fans of the twin bed configuration, we would have been seriously tempted!

Congrats to all!

Joe

Congrats to all of you lucky Pendleton owners. I've been on the Airstream/RV fence for quite some time, and this Pendleton model could be just the thing to push me off....

These we pics from our maiden voyage to the newbie-safe RV resort Catherine's in Hot Springs AR. We didn't realize until we got there that we had #28 spot, the same as our Pendleton number 😀. It was a good spot to test everything out. The temp varied from 32 degrees to 80!
