Arrow Free National Park Passes for 4th Graders!

For those of us with access to a young family member who happens to be in Fourth Grade, take note!

As a parent or guardian, your child can take you amazing places! With the pass, fourth graders can bring family and friends on adventures free for a full year via President Obama and the General Services Administration for the Department of the Interior's Every Kid in a Park program.

Or, as an educator, you can print up to 50 passes at a time. You're a fourth-grade educator if:
  • You're a teacher at a U.S. or U.S. military school, or
  • You're an adult who engages fourth graders through a youth-serving organization. For example, a camp director, a home-school leader, an after-school leader, or a religious group leader.

They chose fourth graders because research shows that kids ages nine to 11 are beginning to learn about the world around them. They’re open to new ideas, and they are likely to connect to nature and our history.

This year is just the start! They will offer the pass to fourth graders every year. Over time, all kids can get a free pass to explore our country.

Trade your paper pass for a limited-edition, plastic pass at any of the sites on this page. Select a state or territory, and you can see all the places you can trade your paper pass for a plastic pass.
