Sir, I notice you are sanding your a aluminum with a palm sander to take off the clear coat? I hope not... The better way to do this is clear coat remover!

Polishing

Hey Dark, great job!

I am intrigued, I have never heard of anyone using Black, White bar for airstream polishing.

From your photo's I think the finish looks awesome after polishing with the white bar.

How are the swirl marks if any, close up?

Would you follow up with a cyclo type polisher?

Buy the way, have you decided what you are going to do for you door on the Falcon? Standard style or by-opening airplane style with built in fold down step??

Dennis

Whatever he does, the Falcon needs to be impenetrable to Imperial SOB Troopers

What is the size of the 39g tanks? Starting to look for water and grey tanks to fit inside a new 5" frame.

Mine are 9.5" deep. They won't fit your frame

There are quite a few here at RV Surplus. They also have really reasonable prices and shipping, with all the fittings custom and sensors installed if you want.

Be advised, they do take 4 weeks as they are custom built. Also, expect up to half inch tolerance on the length and width dimensions--I found that out from the manufacturer just before I ordered a 54" tank to fit my 54.00" frame spacing. I was limited to only 4" deep on my older frame, but you should have more options, especially if you are willing to push out your belly pan a little bit to fit the 5.75" deep tank options.

Busy day! Installed two of the primo fan-tastic fans, installed rivets in all the screw holes where the AC use to be, patched the AC hole, patched the mid fan hole, Still need to patch the old fridge vent, antenna hole, both stack vents, then the top will be ready for supertherm...
