Boondockers FIND Airstreams and Avions

While Boondocking Off the Grid we take the back roads.

This Ranch had what appears to be an Airstream. It was in Wyoming 2008, somewhere long lost in my fragile memory.

I should take down GPS locations and sell them on the Airforums.

The second is 2017 Idaho. Used as a kitchen and storage.

Airstreams and Avions and unknown aluminum trailers are sitting out there and no one has bothered to inquire... since they travel asphalt roads and see the same stuff as everyone else.

An Airstream 345 of some year is sitting and has been for some time at Las Vegas Airstream.

5050 E. Russel Road, Henderson, Nevada 89122 702-835-8300

No, I do not own it. No, I do not care if anyone buys it. But... this is my good deed if someone is looking. I posted this on a Thread looking for a 345 for sale... we will see.

These are BIG. Having to think about buying one for a year? Gonna miss one that is already here and for sale. I do not know how much they are asking.

The stuff is out there... you go find it. The 'good end' of this Pacific Railroad 40 footer? Sitting in Wyoming and no doubt for the price of the aluminum and contents. Go look for it. It may still be there. August 2017

Maybe a 2021 Boondock Aluminum Hunt

I am sure someone may put together a few hunters, who want to hunt Airstreams and other Aluminum Trailers in their area.

Wyoming and Idaho have plenty. You just have to look.

Projects that take a lifetime to restore, but a lifetime to find in the Bush... take a special kind of hunter. No plans. No place is avoided. Stuff is where you expect to find it the... least.

Interior of the Pacific Rail Road 40 foot or... less Airstream combo.

The top two photos are of the 10th of 12 40-footers Airstream built in 1960 for railroads. A rare bird to find in the wild. The longest Airstream trailers ever made.
