WANTED, hubcap s for 1971 safari - British Columbia
Hey There, so just finished our first trip after an epic year long restoration. Great trip, but lost a dang hubcap! Hoping someone may have one or know where to pick one up! I am trying to add a photo of what it looks like, will keep trying.
I probably have one and I am close enough to you in Sechelt. I’ll check later today. The average price is fairly crazy but at least you can save $$ on postage. I’ll ask $75 Cdn. which is on the low side if it’s half decent. I fly into YYJ (Victoria) on a regular basis, so you could pick it up at the Victory Flying club. You are welcome to get in touch. I can email you a pic. (if I can find my spares).
Regards,
Greg Caple
Hey Greg, do you fly? You mentioned the flying club. I just did a briefing to the ground school kids not long ago, I’m an airforce guy, run the search and rescue centre out of Esquimalt! Looks like I found a couple out of the states, but they have not shipped them out yet. I’m also missing one small piece of trim, not sure if you have any other parts as well. Shoot me a pic when you look around, I wouldn’t mind a spare as well! Cheers, kevin
