I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
My wife and I are looking for our 1st Airstream to overhaul. We are looking for something in the 25-27 foot range. We both really want a rear bedroom setup. We would like to stay under $8,000 for the initial coast because we will be doing a frame up restoration/Modification.
There are a couple things we need it to have due to funding and expreience level.
We would need all the glass to be intact and in good shape.
We would like the shell to be straight and true.
We need it to be able to tow or at least movable onto a Goose neck trailer.
We would also need detailed picture of the inside and outside before we could commit to traveling to pick it up.
Anywhere in the US is fine but we don't want a lot of rust if it is on the East coast we just don't have the metal working experience.
We are not looking to Flip the trailer we want something we can spend some time on and make it what we want and make it so it will last many years. We are both in our 30's so this will be a long term investment. If you have something or know of anyone looking to unload their trailer please keep us in mind.
