All the material you need to replace those peeling chrome rubrails!
My 2016 Airstream Classic was experiencing the well documented malady of peeling chrome on the upper and lower rubrails. It was shabby looking.
Airstream Nerd offered up what I considered an excellent solution on his You Tube channel. I can't post a website link in this ad so you will have to look it up yourself. It's worth the time if you are trying to figure out how to solve this issue permanently.
I ordered and received the materials in Jan, 2024. Before I could get around to replacing them, I sold the rig.
Now I have 312 dollars worth of rubrail and cleaner/prep that I will pack up and ship to a new user for 250 dollars. 100' of 5/8" for the midline rail. 50' and 20' of 1" for the bottom rail which I judged to be enough for my 30' Classic.
I was looking forward to upgrading my Airstream look to black with material that has proven very long lasting in auto applications. I'd love to get this in the hands of someone who will put it to good use.
