What is your experience with awning separation from the fuselage of an airstream? I have a 3 month-old FC 27 twin bunk, and the major awning progressively has separated and in fact fell off striking me in the head this week. It has been properly deployed and stowed and has had no physical damage or high wind experiences. This is obviously a defect and I would certainly expect it’s reattachment/repair to be covered under the “new trailer” warrantee. Do you have any insight into this issue?

Not sure if you saw this but you posted your question in a classified ad. You might want to start your own thread about your issue.

Possibly in the exterior restoration forum, it has an awning section.
