We are selling our International Signature 25FB Christopher Dean edition. Please have a look at the list of upgrades and add ons. We are the original owners; we purchased the Airstream in 2015 from Bay Area Airstream Adventures in Fairfield, CA. We are non smokers and pretty much never cooked inside the airstream, except for heating water and perhaps boiling pasta once a year. This was our second Airstream after owning a Flying Cloud.
We decided to go more rugged in the next years and switched to the dark side a Revel is on order . Not sure whether we will regret it, but we can always come back.
The Airstream was used regularly, probably 4 5 times per year, for usually 1 2 weeks long trips. In 2016, we took it on the road for a 2 month Western US trip.
We moved to Southern Utah in 2020, and the Airstream is garaged near St. George in UT, which is about a 1.5h drive from Las Vegas.
Added features:
16" wheels and tires upgrade. Relatively new lt;5K miles Michelin LT tires. We did this upgrade immediately after we purchased the Airstream.
Tire pressure monitoring system. We ditched the spare tire to reduce the tongue weight we pulled for most of the time until earlier this year with a Porsche Cayenne Diesel . We had one flat tire and noticed this right away because of the TPM alarm; we made it to a tire store and were back on the road with a 1h delay. This was probably in 2017. We never regretted upgrading the wheels/tires and always felt comfortable with the TPM system.
Lithium ion batteries 200Ah installed under the Bed. The original battery compartment is empty, and we use it for stuff. This also reduced the tongue weight for easy towing. The Airstream still has a pretty decent tongue weight I measured it at 950lbs, so there are no issues with balance.
Bike rack installed in 2017.
EFOY 80 Fuel cell for trickle charging when there is little sun and to keep the Li ion battery healthy when not plugged in.
Solar panels 300W the glue on top type.
Solar charge controller and IPN ProRemote panel.
The Airstream came with the Christopher Dean package, white leatherette the soft stuff , and the modern looking dark wood. Fully automatic ZipDee Awning.
Overall, we had many happy years with this trailer, and it is in good shape. Everything is working and has been well maintained over the years.
Before this Airstream, we owned a shorter 20 feet Flying Cloud that came with many issues, including leaks when raining , awning breaking off, etc. These were all fixed, but we took three trips back to the dealer. This Airstream our "Zeppel 2" had only minimal cosmetic issues that we all caught when we took delivery, and all were promptly taken care of. We never had any major issues!
This trailer is used! It is in good shape and has no dents or major scratches. The dent guards were doing their job, and they, of course, have small impacts from stones, but nothing major.
