Alexandrine Atlas was born a 28foot Airstream Safari in the Midwest in 2004. She took several tours of thecountry with her exacting and careful first owner. As he become older, he felt that he could provide Alexadrine with the carefree lifestyle she deserved and he sold her to a young college graduate with a vision.
The young man wanted to wander the world in a wooden boat. But being a practical young captain, he purchased the trailer once dubbed the landyacht . The trailer he chose was well maintained and youthful. He wished only to change the look and feeling of the trailer to suit his vision. He found a skilled craftsman refitted the airstream with hardwood beauty similar to that of a vintage yacht. She had glossed cherry installed and she traveled the country with her new owner. But her new owner fell in love, and he got married. Soon, they were expecting a baby. The man wanted to use the money from Ms.Atlas to help buy a real home for his family. He sold the Alexandrine to a woman with two adventuresome children. The woman loved it and so did the children,but they owned no big truck to pull it. So, despite the families love for their boat on land, they decided she needed a different life. This is where your part of the story begins. What sort of adventure will it hold? Where will you take her? What will you show her?
Alexandrine Atlas is a 28 foot 2004 Airstream Bambi Safari. Her interior, skin, fittings, plumbing, and electrical are all in good/excellent condition. She has been on the road much of her life including living in northern climates.
