1998 Airstream Safari 25 - Oregon

Great entry level Airstream to find out what all the excitement is about. We are aging out of the RV life, so this is your chance to grab a really nice rig. We have taken it over the Rockies, to Arizona two winters, and used it locally on the west coast. The three owners updated and took care of this Airstream. You will be right at home during your next Airstream caravan with this spacious model.

Features: twin beds, original folding couch, nice sized refrigerator/freezer, two burner propane stove top, microwave, dual propane tanks, television, storage galore, propane furnace, electric air conditioner/heater, professionally cleaned wall fabric, radio/cassette player, separate grey, black and freshwater tanks, nice awning, non smoking owners.

New installations: two new Airstream mattresses, Mannington solid vinyl plank flooring throughout, fantastic fan in bedroom, toilet with spray mechanism, metal blinds throughout, outside stainless kitchen fan vent, outside electrical outlet, electrical converter amp; battery, tv aerial crank, gasket stops on mirror, living room vent, and Airstream NW resealed exterior in 2019.

Comes with your purchase: RV dehumidifier, travel barbeque, extra electrical power cord, jacks, leveling blocks, sewer hose, blue boy waste water receptacle, extra water filter, weight distribution and sway control hitch, extra converter, original manuals/updated receipts, tool box, two fitted sheet sets for rounded mattresses, five flag holder with poles, wheel covers, vacuum cleaner, special Airstream sheets, plenty of support and advice via email or phone.

The wheel bearings have been repacked and this Airstream is ready to go camping. This model year is in the sweet spot of affordability between brand new and project models. All systems work. This is a driver, not a project trailer. Exterior photographs show age appropriate wear. Previous owner had exterior re lacquered and new striping put on. All of the scratches are shown and cause no problem with the function of the trailer and have already been considered in pricing.

The trailer is confidently offered in as is condition and is located in Canby, Oregon, just south of Portland.

My wife and I just bought a 2002 Safari 25’. It has original carpet and we want to replace with plank vinyl flooring like you did. Did you have to take out the beds? Is the carpet underneath the beds supports and cabinets?

Hi Larry: Airstream Forums has lots of good advice, which we used. When Airstreams are built, as I understand it, the carpet is laid first and then everything else is built on top of it. After taking out the couch, I cut around the edge of the cabin. Also, look in exterior storage cabinets and remove all carpet from them. I replaced with plastic shower tile found on Amazon. My wife found the blinds (again on Internet advice) from Blinds Chalet. Happy restorations! Tom
