For Sale 1978 Airstream Ambassador. We have owned this for the past three years and the previous owner had since 1979.
Appliances work as they should throughout fridge, AC, stove, oven, water pump, toilet, shower throughout with the only item I'm not sure on is the water heater as we did not use it. Awnings on both sides are in good condition.
Replaced and upgraded:
Fresh water tank replaced with original size tank from Outdoors Mart
Upgraded to Progressive Dynamics power converter 9200 Series Intellipower .
New memory foam front and back sofas and heavy duty fabric covers
New laminate floors
Identified and sealed any leaks including resealing majority of windows.
Some floor rot in bathroom behind toilet however floor is solid except for this spot including under toiler and bath tub. Will last many more seasons camping in this condition however should be replaced at some stage in the future.
This trailer is ready to hook up now and will come with weight distributing hitch, sway bars, 3 batteries and NOCO Genius charger.
We have camped all over Iowa in this camper in the past three summers. This camper would suit someone looking to get out camping now and slowly make updates overtime.
