This has been a 4 year odyssey with a restorer that has sucked all the fun out of this project for us. He does excellent work but has the attention span of a butterfly. We started with a "barn find." The interior was intact though full of mold and deterioration so we gutted it ourselves; all the fixtures, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. some fixture pieces still available . The paint on the interior skins was mold stained so we stripped it also. All the usable interior skins are included for reinstall or as templates for new. Then we found a local restorer to do all the modernization work. Unfortunately he made it only part way...
This Overlander has had a complete shell off frame restoration. The frame rails were extended for potential storage behind the bumper. The axles were in good shape so they remained. Wheels were refurbished and have new tires with original hub caps. All new sub floor was installed and the shell reattached with new trim at the base. Electric is run only for lights and brakes to make road legal.
So basically most of the difficult/expensive part of the restoration has been done and now you have a blank canvas for whatever you desire in a "vintage" Airstream. We are selling only for what we have invested.
Please look closely at pics and ask any questions. In spite of several attempts to them in sequence, they are not, half are "before" shots the other half are present day.
