I’m about to do what you probably did and that is to upgrade to a progressive 1800w inverter. Did you do it yourself and have any hints to help me in advance? I’m thinking I don’t need to upgrade the wire.

I kept the 1,000watt oem inverter, then I added a PD 1,800 watt to power the microwave, galley and bath outlet. Installed in the front compartment, ran 14awg back to the panel. Fairy simple.

I’m thinking of using a 5” or 6” hole saw and drilling a hole behind each crease in the closet. This will give access for Paintless dent removal. Then cover the holes with a 6” aluminum disk.

I actually upgraded to a solar system that has a multiplus controller that replaces the converter and inverter. So the item is brand new taken out of our new rig and just selling the items.
