I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
We are seeking to purchase very nice to excellent condition Airstream OEM curtains for our Airstream. Must be from a non-smoking environment.
The photo below is borrowed from the Airstream community. The existing curtains were stored under a seat and would bring out a memory-chuckle or expereince-groan to those who restored an Airstream.
My wife and I are restoring our first camper, a 1981 International 22' Airstream. We are in home stretch of a year-long (hundreds of hours in over my head but refused to rush or cut corners) nearly daily project. The trailer came with a partial set of curtains. As we are now attempting the cleaning and stitching of the curtains we have discovered that the deterioration, wear and tear, and discoloration of the cloth is more extensive than first thought.
Some have suggested going straight to blinds but we think we want to keep the original theme.
