Looking to spend 10K on a 20 to 26 foot Airstream that is camp ready

I'm not too picky about layout, just size, looking for a medium sized Airstream that I can go camping in immediately. Thanks in advance! Willing to drive up to 14 hours.

Most $10K Airstreams are projects and not camp ready. Good luck with your search.

Based on historical trends, your best chance at snagging an airstream that is camp ready in that price range is to look in the Midwest or south, and be looking at a vintage unit in the winter months.

Depending on what you mean by “camp ready “it may be possible to find a camper in which it is possible to camp right away, but may need some referbishments, perhaps some appliance repair or upgrades, some serious cleaning, painting or upholstery work, new tires, repacked bearings and so on. Of course, even if it’s just an “aluminum tent”, you could still camp in it.

The nicer and newer the unit, the more money it will command in the marketplace. Watch the classifieds for a while, and you will get a sense of what units move at what price points.
