Looking for my first airstream for renovation: 26 29' 1970's or 80's

Hello!

I'm looking for an airstream from the 1970's or 80's yes, yes, I'm casting a wide net here that is a 26 29 footer that most importantly has a bay window on one end. I'm really not picky about which model, although I am a fan of the Argosy and the many models that have that sexy blue stripe down the side. I'm looking to completely gut the thing and renovate from the frame up. If there's one that's already gutted, that's a plus for me. For this reason, I'm looking to pay less than 10,000. I live in NYC but am willing to drive approximately 100 miles.

Looking forward to a year of renovations and a life on the road!

Thanks a bunch :

I have a 1966 28foot Land Yacht Ambassador. It has the original walnut cabinets, sleeps 6, awning, aluminum propane tanks, electric hitch, double mattress, portable grey water holding tank, no oven but has microwave, gas cook top.

I have a 1963 Ambassador 28. New from deck down. Frame, dbl gray tanks, sub floor, c-channel, axles & belly pan. Outer shell riveted from front to axles. Not my first one but Doc says I'm done! Has your full glass on sides. Lot of work left. Have all interior, appliances useless, has roof AC and awning arms. Above floor black tank good, shower tub salvagable. Have new furnace and very good gas elect full size fridge. Have 6K in it w/o labor. Ask some questions make an offer over that.

How about something easier to work with? We have a 1986 Airstream Classic 32 foot TWO door!! When we parked it several years ago everything worked. All original except the micro oven. The tires will be replaced with the ones on my current Airstream. We are in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
