A very clean 2017 Airstream International Serenity. Purchased in April 2017. On May 8, 2017, the Airstream was damaged by hail. Everything that was broken or cracked was replaced. The title to the Airstream is the same as the day we took title, vis a vis, it is not a "salvage title." We chose not to fix the dents/dings as we had just purchased the Airstream and didn't want to wait another four or more months for the repairs. Yes, our insurance company one of the big four continues to insure the Airstream. We paid cash for the Airstream, so I do not know how a bank would finance purchasing this particular Airstream. But, to be clear, the title is clear not a salvage , we paid cash in the transaction, and the Airstream remains insured today with the same insurance company since 2017.
The Airstream has traveled more than 17,000 miles. We have taken it to Mount Rushmore, Minnesota, Big Bend National Park, the Florida Keys, Rocky Mountain National Park, and lots of national, state and RV parks in between. It has always been serviced by the dealer where we made the purchase and cleaned after every trip.
There are lots of photos for you to look through, including the Airstream sticker, and the hail damage, and even a couple of photos of our using the Airstream. The 2017 International Serenity Airstream comes with an Equalizer Sway hitch. The ride with our Ford vehicles first a 2013 F 150 and then a 2019 Expedition is very smooth. There is a dealer installed bike rack on the back.
We did perform our annual check up on the Airstream in 2020, but we did not travel in the Airstream in 2020. We are putting together some new ideas to travel in 2021 and will do so if it is not sold.
