We do not smoke or have pets. The trailer is stored inside when not in use.
It has two air conditioners that can also be used as heat pumps to heat the trailer on those cold days.
It has all of the standard 27FB flying cloud features.
The Airstream trailer has a number of electrical upgrades. The inverter has been upgraded to a 2000 watt pure sine wave Samlex inverter. It has 720 watts of solar panels mounted on the roof of the trailer. The charge controller is a Victron SmartSolar 100/50 MPPT Charge controller with Bluetooth. There are 4 100 Amp hour Lithium Battle Born batteries installed. Each worth about 1,000 dollars. The batteries are monitored by a Victron battery monitoring system with Bluetooth. There is also a switch installed that automatically powers up the normally deenergized 120 volt outlets when the trailer is not plugged in.
You can camp comfortably, off grid, for as long as you can make your water last.
The wheels and tires have been upgraded to 16" light truck tires. This includes the spare.
We also added shelves to the left side hanging wardrobe and the larger center wardrobe. They were made removable so the wardrobes can be modified to fit your needs.
The trailer comes with an equalizer hitch.
The brakes were inspected in late June 2020. Of the four, two were in good shape and two had to be replaced. All 4 shocks were replaced earlier this year.
No known mechanical issues. Everything works as expected.
The trailer does have some very minor hail damage. Very hard to see from the ground. It also has a small dent in the front near the "A" in Airstream. It was hit by a piece of rubber from another trailer. No leaks!
I replaced the plastic range exhaust with one made of stainless steel. I also replaced the external electrical outlet cover.
It is a good looking, mechanically sound trailer.
