2007 Airstream Classic 34 - Florida

Title: 2007 Airstream Classic 34 - Florida
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

2007l 34-foot Classic Limited with Slide-out for sale. Trailer is in very good condition and has been meticulously maintained by the two prior owners (TASH in Zavalla TX) and us. Prior owner upgrades include stainless steel covers for appliance openings, 16-inch aluminum rims and Michelin LT tires (all 2014 or newer), Italian leather fabric on couch, nearly all carpeting removed, and Hensley Arrow hitch.

All interior hickory cabinets, fixtures, ceiling cover, curtains and wall covering (mouse fur) in great shape; no staines or discolorations.

Trailer spent 5 days in Jackson Center factory service center in September 2017 for maintenance and upgrades. Tires removed and bearings, brakes, calipers, rotors, shocks and axels inspected and reassembled; tires rotated. Shocks replaced on all wheels. New gate valves installed on black and gray tanks; new fluid level sensors installed on both tanks. Micro-pulse system monitor display replaced and calibrated. Low pressure propane outlet installed near tongue. Front shore-power outlet updated and automatic transfer switch installed. Carpet removed from storage area under bed, rear cargo access door resealed, sheet vinyl installed. Rubber seal surrounding inside of slide replaced. Microwave replaced with convection microwave oven. Structural design defect where trailer "house" joins the A-frame in the front (known design defect) repaired; portions of front panel removed, heavy L-brackets installed, frame and "house" bolted together tightly, and new aluminum panel installed. 7-way trailer umbilical cable replaced. Recall on Dometic refrigerator fixed; new parts installed. Brake controller verified that it is not part of a recall. Brake lines inspected and verified to be the correct length (some of the factory-installed brake lines were too short). Slide-out, motor and gears were checked for alignment and lubricated. Propane lines and orifices on all appliances were checked for leaks and adjusted for proper combustion. Plastic exterior cover on skylight was replaced. New wireless HD rear-facing camera installed on rear of trailer.

Current owner upgrades include: Replacement of exterior air conditioner shrouds; installation of WeBoost cellular signal amplifier; installation of WiFiRanger external antenna and internal wireless router; installation of 3 100-watt solar panels (kit from AM Solar in Eugene OR), 2 100 Ah Battle Born lithium batteries, new Progressive Dynamics 80A converter/charger (designed for lithium batteries), Victron solar controller and battery monitor with bluetooth transceivers (monitor and control everything from your smartphone), system designed for 600 watts-just add 3 more solar panels; Aluminet shade cover on main awning; new LED TVs in living and bedroom areas; all light bulbs are either LED or CFL (no incandescent bulbs). New faucets installed in the kitchen and bathroom sinks; new low-flow shower wand installed.

What doesn't work: New black tank sensor stopped reporting correct level 2 weeks after installation, factory says this is common and not worth fixing, I use a flashlight to check the waste level through the toilet. Black tank flush head is plugged and has been plugged for years; vacuum breaker on flush head is broken; factory says it is not worth the cost to fix it; I use a wand with a spinning head inserted through the toilet...it works much better than the factory-installed spray head. The tongue jack just died and a new one is on order and will be installed in the next week or two.

We're in Silver Springs FL through the end of January 2018, then heading west to Arizona for a month or two. Contact us by phone if you are interested in seeing the trailer. Serious buyers only; no tire-kickers. The price is firm and you will understand why when you see the trailer, it is in very good condition compared to most, has been maintained well, and has several expensive upgrades installed int he past couple of months.

We're selling the trailer because our plans have changed and we're going a different direction. Had our plans not changed, we would continue to travel full-time in the trailer for the next several years.
You can contact us by filling in the form on the right hand column of the ad listing:
