2007 Airstream Base Camp , 2007 Airstream Basecamp. If you want to turn heads. The Basecamp is the way to go! We cant go anywhere in ours without curious onlookers asking for a peek inside. People love seeing it and we have had great fun getting thumbs up signals from folks on the road. The best description that weve gotten for it was that it looked like The Terminators horse trailer! This trailer is in fantastic condition. Was used 3-4x year for 6 years and has not been used for over 1 1/2 years. Has always been stored in fully covered and closed storage. Ours is equipped with the attachable Kelty tent which is still in good condition- Ive included a stock picture of one with its tent just so you can see what it looks like- very unique. The trailer itself sleeps 2 but if you add the tent, there is ample room for 4 total. We put two cots in our tent and still had plenty of room to move around and get into the trailer itself. Other features include: single burner cooktop, sink with 2 3.2 G water tanks, skylight, roof vent and roof fan, Whirlpool air coditioner with remote control, fire extinguisher, LED lights, plugs everywhere and then all of the other neat features that came standard..pretty much all you would ever need. We also have all of the original owners manuals etc If you arent familiar with the Basecamp: Airstream made them from 2007 - 2009. They were made to serve the dual purpose of being a gear hauler and also being able to transform into a sleeping trailer once the gear was removed. Ive included a stock internet pic of one with a 4 wheeler entering it. Note: rails to get a 4 wheeler in are not part of our package The couches are able to lift up to the walls allowing space to drive a 4 wheeler- or whatever other extras you want to haul- into the trailer. 6 D rings on the floor allow you to tightly your toys- d rings pictured. When it is time to sleep, the two couches have pull out platforms that create a double sized bed. Only minor repairs needed are a scratch on one black bumper that can be penned over with a sharpie and one tie down for curtains needs someone who can sew to give it a stitch or two.
