We just listed our 2005 Airstream Safari for Sale on Airstream Classifieds.

Safari LS Front Twin Beds. Safari upgrade package which includes spare tire, fantastic fan, black tank rinsing system, aquajet water pump, cast aluminum taillights, elect hitch jack, 13,500 BTU A/C with heat pump, screen door guard and galley faucet with sprayer and the galley skylight with shade. It has an upgraded stereo with XM and CD.
It has been stored inside when not on the road. Four new tires in May of 2012 and recent service including new self adjusting brake assemblies, bearing kit, 21 point inspection, tank monitors re-callibrated, and reseal roof.
The batteries are 6 volt golf cart type in good condition.
This sweet airstream was purchased new and carefully maintained by two adoring retirees. It has been the perfect trailer for us. It is not top of the line fancy which we did not want. It is comfortable and spacious for two. The kitchen can truly be used for cooking, even a full Thanksgiving feast for friends.
In 2005 airstream did not offer the wraparound windows on this model. We have not missed them. Also, the fabric choices were horrible. We selected one knowing we would immediately recover the seat cushions, which we did. The bed covers are original but have been stored and never used.
This trailer has traveled in the western states as far north as Glacier NP, south to Carlsbad Caverns and east to Mt. Rushmore. Although we still adore this trailer, we feel at this point in our lives we would like to have a small motor home. We are downsizing to a 24' Sprinter conversion. We trust new owners will adore this Airstream as much as we have.
