We currently have our trailer in Ohio at the Airstream Factory Service Center.
2005 International CCD 22' It's the model with the wet bath and the small desk in the rear. Bedroom in front. Dining and kitchen on facing sides.
Trailer has had very little time on road, mainly trips to Airstream dealer in Virginia for minor service and winterization. Twice to dump station. Primarily used as pool changing room, office, extra bedroom, etc. No accidents.
Airstream confirms that frame appears to be in good shape.
Interior has been disassembled to allow for thorough inspection and to provide estimate for repairing damage from leaking. We know the refrigerator original was not working, when we took it in, but don't know if it can be repaired.
Happy to provide Airstream's write up of what needs to be done to repair damage from leaks and to reseal.
Currently deciding whether to sell as is, thinking it might be of interest to a DIY owner, which we are not, or to someone who wants to customize an Airstream for a special purpose. Or we might get Airstream to do the work and put it's original interior back in place. Or we might look for an independent shop to do the job at a lower price. Will think we will probably wind up selling, one way or the other, as our needs have changed over the years.
We welcome inquiries, serious offers or advice based on experience.
