Known Negatives (Reason for lower price)
- Salvage Title - title in hand (it had a tree fall on it, exterior panel was replaced by previous owner on the street side)
- Several areas with dents or dings on the exterior, including the bumper; one patch
- Needs new tires (have towed with these, one does not match because we had a flat and did not replace all four)
FULL DISCLOSURE:
We realized tonight that we forgot to clean out the outside storage bins. When cleaning the large back bin, we saw the beginning of floor rot. This is a known problem for certain years of Airstreams where water enters at the back bumper. It can be fixed. There are multiple threads and posts on air forums. We have lowered the price to reflect this.
Also, for those asking, a salvaged title is an insurance term that reflects the Airstream was damaged. It was not in a wreck, but a tree fell on the street side/driver's side in front of the axle. It was repaired by the previous owner and we have not had any issues regarding this.
