I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This is a beautifully updated 34' Classic Ltd. with a living room slide. This edition is very unique because the front of the living room is designed as a home office workspace with drawers, cabinets and pull-out keyboard drawer. There is more than enough space for a computer or laptop, printer and other common desk accessories.
Our updating started by taking out all the carpet and linoleum and replacing it with beautiful wood laminate flooring that matches the hickory used in the cabinets. Next, we created a lockable, built-in pantry cabinet where the original TV was and installed a new 19" HD TV on the overhead pantry door.
Entertainment was a premium for us, so we installed a new stereo DC radio unit and hooked it up to the surround sound speakers throughout the cabin. The TV is hooked up to a roof-mounted Dish TV turret that automatically finds the satellite at the touch of a button. Then, we replaced the main bed with a new queen-size Sleep Number bed (made especially for RV units) with a remote that controls left and right sleeping chambers. We actually preferred this bed over our Tempurpedic bed at home!
There are 2 high-capacity air conditioners that cool the cabin even in the hottest of climates. Some of the standard Airstream stuff that we left alone include the beautiful solid hickory cabinets throughout and the rock solid Corian countertops. The closet is lined with natural cedar.
Towing this unit is a breeze, thanks to the Hensley anti-sway hitch. The ride is amazingly stable on the freeway with trucks whizzing by in the other direction, in high winds and winding roads. If you have never towed with a Hensley, then you are in for a real treat. The exterior trunk and drawer at the back have ample space for all your extraneous parts, blocks, water hoses, supplies, etc. All cable and adapters are included, making this Airstream ready for the road today.
