Title: 2000 Airstream Safari 25 - South Carolina
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Up for sale 2000 Airstream Safari travel trailer. This trailer is 6300 LBS bumper pull 2.5/16 ball size hitch. Rear twin bedroom, walk in shower with toilet and sink, good size fridge, lots of storage compartments and shelves, front foldable sofa with foldable table, tv antenna, radio and propane gas stove and double sink, floors are laminated wood pattern.
This trailer was purchased from insurance company therefore carries salvage title. Trailer was issued salvage title due to front top left side dent on roof top/side appeared as a tree limb fell on it. We hired a bodyman who made the dented area much better by straighten out the dent and fixing up the skin mostly leaving minor dings and dents which are more cosmetical appearance then before. Trailer did not sustain any other damage only right top roof/corner except there is also a dent but insignificant under right rear tail light( see pics). Currently trailer does not leak it’s still intact as you see it. The aluminum lines did not go apart. Trailer already been on the road as it is, for a little over 500 miles it goes great does not pull, great tread on all 4 GoodYear Marathon tires.
This will be a great winter time project if someone wants to replace those dinged skins or leave it like "it is" and just use the trailer for travel or an extra living quarters. Those aluminum parts comes in segments which are riveted together with silicone type adhesive and Olympic style aluminum rivers with rubber washers. Skin panels can be ordered directly from any Airstream dealer.
