Title: 1998 Airstream 190 B Van -
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
74K miles; good Michelin tires; all service records from 6K miles; mpg records from 6K miles (usually ran in the 13 to 14 mpg range); All factory supplied user's manuals; always stored under cover; sunward tires always covered. It is on a Ford E350 chassis with the V10 engine.
Features include generator, water heater, furnace, heat strip in roof A/C, 3-way refrigerator, microwave, shower in bath (currently not installed, but all parts available), dash A/C, PW/PD, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, toilet and sink in bath, double kitchen sink, cutting board cover for range, oven, swivel passenger seat, locking gas cap, white water hose, 30A electric cable, monitor panel, pull down snack table in center of couch and removable table that stores under the couch, screens on the two tilt out windows in one side and one rear door, power driver seat, center storage console below dash, solar powered fan behind refrigerator, ladder on driver's side rear door, home made curtains for all windows (some insulated).
Only known problems are roof A/C needs new gasket, slight leak when wet; front coach headliner has shrunk and pulled out of divider strip (currently patched with clear duct tape); dash radio left channel intermittent; dash air needs recharging. Also, the cabover bed ladder is broken.
Has not been used for 2 1/2 years due to health problems, which is the reason for selling it. Everything worked fine when last used and some of the appliances have been run occasionally while not in service. Generator run monthly. It is great for one person to camp in, great for two people traveling as you can have all the conveniences of home on the road. It is not that great for two people to camp even though Airstream says it "sleeps 4". It handles and parks like a regular van, not like a large motorhome.
