1994 Airstream Classic 36 36 - Ohio

Title: 1994 Airstream Classic 36 36 - Ohio
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

Sold
Gently used extremely well maintained Airstream Classic 36 from 1994.
After 10 years of extreme pleasure, we have decided to part ways. The children are gone and we recently acquired a sailboat. We would like this unit to provide the same joy that we had to a new family.
Fitted with the 454 CI V8 Chevrolet on chassis P30. These chassis are designed for a million miles. From a mechanical stand point, we can say that it is barely broken in.
We are the third owner. There was a first owner that bought it new and did little with it. Second owner kept it circa 10 years and described the motorhome as its life hobby. He was doing all the proper maintenance.
For us, the Airstream has been a no expense spared enjoyment. We have had it for 10 years. A mile from the storage area, we have a RV/GMC dealer. The mechanic working on it used to work on these motorhomes when they were sold new. The Airstream factory is only two hours away and the unit has spent a handful of winters there for proper maintenance.
To be addressed: clear coat.
This is the last series of the aluminum motorhomes; the more modern design, inside and outside Miles: 120,000 Features: a single bed with wrap around window (beautiful when you wake up in the morning Upgrade: - Banks exhaust line (that changed dramatically the mobility of the unit). The Airstream moves as fast a car on the interstate, even when we have hills to climb. - Relay splitter on the main shaft to have more torque in case of steep incline - Mattress: inflatable air mattress

STANDARD EQUIPMENT: this unit stands just over 10’ tall including the two roof A/C units with heat. Two A/C units, 7.0 KW Onan Generator. 2 LP furnaces (and a 105Lb. Propane tank) keep the unit nice in the coldest weather, and plenty of fresh water inside the unit so that you can use it in winter (80 gal.) and large holding tanks (40/45 Gal.) allow you to dry camp a weekend or so without hook ups. Airstream is known for comfort like the rear island QUEEN SIZE BED, ZipDee Awnings (one Large Patio, 1 large and 3 small window awnings, All in great shape and the Matching Original Cloth). 4 Leather seats (Including the Driver & Passenger Power seats) a leather-trimmed couch long enough to make a comfortable double bed, and a dinette booth with a solid wood table and leather seats. Both a 3 burner range with an oven and a Convection/Micro wave over the range make cooking easy. Corian counter tops and lots of SOLID OAK cabinets including a multi drawer Pantry 2 closets, bath storage, drawers under the couch and bed, outside storage including a huge rear trunk, and more give you a place for everything. 2 televisions with remotes, Tape player, AM/FM/CD player and more like cedar lined, lighted wardrobes, tinted glass, docking lights, 2 way fridge, great shower, 6 GAL. water heater with motoraid (hot water while you drive) & electronic lighting, cable/telephone hook ups, back up camera, 4 automatic leveling jacks, power steps, 2 Coach batteries, China toilet with sprayer, Skylights, exhaust fan, fluorescent lights, water purifier, water hose reel, Nice big windows with day/night shades, (one needs a new string), front air bags, automatic adjusting air suspension on the Tag Axle, about 4 year old tires with almost full tread, halogen running lights, safe—really there is just too much to describe it all.

AIRSTREAM OPTIONS: aluminum rims, queen size bed, radio with CD amp and 4 speakers, solar panels.

CONDITION: everything works. All repairs made or apparatus changed if needed. As much as possible, we have replaced with OEM Airstream parts. I have inches of invoices.

Why are we selling: we acquired recently a sailboat and the motorhome is not used anymore.
