1987 Airstream 345 - Indiana

Selling our "Silver Bullet" after years of pure enjoyment. Kids are gone, no more tailgates and ball games and time for wife and I to work for us for a change! 44K miles, completely redone interior, all airbags and suspension parts replaced. All hail damaged aluminum replaced at the Mecca, Jackson Center Ohio where she was built! This was listed earlier in the year on this site but some pics were not available due to it being in storage. Found some that will tide many of you over till we pull her out of slumber next year for the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. She will be parked there with her 500 friends for the entire month, May 1st June 1st and best offer can take her home after the race weekend. Only time I use her now is for that race parked at the Speedway. Just replaced the Zip Dee awning, still make them in over 500 colors and all the parts. Best awning ever made. This one works perfectly. Gray and black stripe! Very sharp! Many will miss her at the Legion 500 as she is the annual crowd pleaser over the 500K coaches. Listing at 75K or best offer. There has all ready been several offers! Please if you want a head turning zenmobile coach that you can drive to either coast tomorrow this is the 345 you've been looking for. I will not make it available for showings till it is setup at the Speedway for anyone that wants to see it before race. Just don't have the time and after storage she needs a bath and clean up from dust of other vehicles being moved in and out. All mechanicals work and in good order. Think the front furnace might be on the fritz but never use it in the winter. Just got complete tune up and checked out before putting away for the winter. Also put new tires her as well. That might be it. Very few of these left that are daily drivers. This one has been kept inside and babied since we bought her in Utah in 2005. Serious inquiries only please. Don't have time to answer all emails right away but will get back to you as soon as possible. One more thing, once parked at the track it will be difficult to "test drive" her. Just very crowded and once jacks are down and leveled and I am plugged into electric she doesn't move. Thank you.

Shower door. Has anyone put one on a 1987 345 or similar airstream with curtain? MacInDaBox Airstream Motorhome Forums 2 05-17-2007 12:06 PM
