WILL CONSIDER TRADE FOR SMALLER AIRSTREAM IN GOOD CONDITION. OURS IS PLENTY LARGE ENOUGH FOR FULL TIMING. WE LIVED IN THIS TRAILER 5 OR 6 MONTHS EVERY SUMMER TRAVELING UP NORTH TO GET AWAY FROM THE HOUSTON HEAT. WITH THE LOW PROFILE AND NARROW BODY, I GET 13 OR 14 MPG DOING 75 TO 80 MPH WITH A SMALL DIESEL NISSAN. GETTING OLDER AND NOT ON THE ROAD AS MUCH. EVERYTHING WORKS: NEW AXLES, NEVER LUBE BEARINGS, SELF ADJUSTING BRAKES, ZERO OFFSET WHEELS, 2 AIR CONDITIONERS, SMART TV'S, STAINLESS STEEL COUNTERTOPS IN KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM AND BATH... We are the 3rd owners of this 1986 Excella. In 2019, we took it for a 6 month road trip to Florida, up the east coast to Nova Scotia, across to Niagra Falls and back to Houston. On the trip, I had Colin Hyde in Plattsburg, NY install new upgraded Dexter axles with new suspension, shocks, Never Lube bearings and Self Adjusting brakes like the new trailers. It pulls so good on the freeway I forget I have it behind me. I upgraded the 2 TV's with larger Smart TV's. I have receipts from Bob Jones RV showing the 2nd owner spent over 59,000 on this trailer during the 12 years he owned it. The initial owner had all the kitchen, living room and bath counters replaced with stainless steel. It has a second AC unit, porcelain toilet, and other upgrades. Awnings all around. Virtually everything works and I could leave for Alaska tomorrow in it with no concerns. The body is in good condition but is weathered and has some minor damage on the rear passenger side corner which was repaired as best we could without replacing the panels. It's reliable and fully functional for traveling and camping, but not so much for glamping. We have an Australian Shepherd that enjoys traveling with us and there's plenty of room. We always keep a pet cover on the couch so it's not caused any problems. We purchased a 2019 Tommy Bahama 27FB in May of 2021 and still having a hard time deciding which trailer to keep. Life is short, so try to enjoy as much as possible. Kenny
