Title: 1979 Airstream Argosy 30 - Tennessee
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
For it's age this Argosy is in very nice condition. We haven't "restored" it but tried to keep the original character of the trailer. All new custom draperies with anti fade lining, new period style upholstery on "Gaucho" couch and twin beds. All new foam with an additional 2" of memory foam on the twin beds. Very comfortable! New floor covering (vinyl), a new porcelain toilet, water heater and battery.
There are three "Fantastic" fans, a newer solid state converter, A/C and electric jack. The Magic Chef stove is in excellent condition, and all the lighting is functional. Included also is a weight distribution/sway bar hitch.
The trailer has been painted years ago,and not a really good job, but could possibly be compounded to a shine.
The furnace does not work, it worked fine last year, but I have been unable to get ignition.
The vent fan in the bathroom does not work.
There is no pressure water pump. The tank and plumbing and electric is in place, I just have always hooked up at campgrounds.
I can not think of any other system that is not working.
The trailer is clean, no mildew and ready to use.
