27 1979 Argosy Airstream rear bath. AS IS.
Has been mostly renovated. Please note: I did this work in 2017, we used the trailer one weekend camping in 2018, and it s been parked since then. The first several pictures are current, and the last few show the trailer when it was furnished.
updated piping to PEX with quick disconnect brass shark bite fittings have a ton of extras that come with the trailer
rerouted freshwater piping to right side removed hot water tank and ran line through there
piped for new shower and in line, instant hot water heater; bathroom is half renovated to be a wet bath with tile but the trailer was moved before grouting took place. However there is the waterproof, paint on membrane under the tile, on the curb, on the seat, and the wall.
new floating laminate floor
new AC professionally installed
newer zipdee awning
updated wiring harness
new forward fuse box
rebuilt pantry and kitchen with new sink, faucet and butcher block counter
all new partitions in birch
completely repainted inside the right way
Bed installed up forward pulls out to a king, or can be permanent at queen or full size and still be able to use the door. Has extra storage underneath.
and much more
the AS IS PART:
has been sitting for 3 years in the PNW weather covered in tarps NOT MOLD, it s MILDEW. Easily wiped off using bleach or vinegar.
Bathroom not finished.
small details need tended to like some things riveted back together
top shelf of pantry needs to be replaced water damage from fridge vent
right rear twin bed needs new plywood, it s been removed plywood, not bed
two broken side windows I have one ready to be installed. The other can be replaced with a new frame and plexi or a salvaged window can be found for 300. I have a source. Otherwise, new they re 600. Rear right was from a shade tent leg in the wind; front left from an altercation in an alley with a fence.
2 inch hole in the outer aluminum skin left rear side that can be patched same fence incident; the top rail of a chain link fence was already out of place and sticking out 2 feet
fuses in main breaker need to be replaced
micro cracks in potable water fill; it needs to be completely replaced; the interior is made of plastic and cracked over the years but the entire subfloor in the front curve has been replaced and the entire inside of the belly bottom body is primed in heavy duty machinery primer to prevent any corrosion same with the tow hitch this is due to regular plastic degrading over a few decades. To replace the original Buck rivets requires Olympic rivets and the Olympic rivet shaver tool very expensive but worth it for the long haul when owning an old airstream
Comes with parts, tools, water tank and pump, portable sewage tank, and whatever else I have that goes with it.
