Title: 1978 Airstream Argosy Minuet 6.7m - Texas
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Hate to let this go, but I bought it to live in(which I did for 3 nights), and decided that living in an RV Is not the best choice for me at this time. There's just no RV parks close to the area I need to be in. Would still love to keep it, but don't want to be paying storage fees on it. I'm also a long distance owner - I'm about 100 miles from where it's stored! NEED TO SELL ASAP! LOWERED THE PRICE!!!!!
Gonna be brief here and just mention some key points. If after looking at this ad you're interested, just call me and I'll be glad to fill you in on any other info. This is what I call a semi-project trailer - usable with some things to fix on it.
New never-used water heater(electric needs to be hooked up)
New complete axle to be installed(current axle tows fine but new axle will raise trailer) -$1000
All new LED running lights and new license plate light(all trailer lights work)
New bathroom sink
Kitchen and refrigerator cabinets removed due to damage(see pics)
Plumbing works but can't be used til kitchen sink installed(still have original sink)
All electric works
No rooftop A/C but dedicated electric there to install one(just cut hole, mount, connect wire)
No battery and needs battery box key
Fairly new tires and rims(old tires and rims included in sale)
No propane tanks but all propane lines there
Miscellaneous extras - curtains, rivets and riveting tools, window seals, new radio antenna, 3 original kitchen drawers and misc. screws
Typical holes in floor along walls(see pic) - Main walking area pretty solid. Covered holes with flashing and dressed up with carpet to make it usable for now, with plans to someday replace floor. If you're familiar with Airstreams, then you know this is not uncommon.
This is a good trailer with nothing on it that can't be fixed. These are also very rare and hard to find, Bcuz it took me quite a while to find this exact model. It only weighs around 2700 pounds and tows great! Towed it from Las Cruces, NM to here, and previous owner towed from Maine.
Would like to sell before the end of this month to avoid another month's storage fees. Plus I'm a long distance owner! LOWERED THE PRICE!!!!! MOTIVATED SELLER!!!!!
