I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
For sale is my 31 ft 77 airstream rear bath model. If you are interested in buying one of these and gutting one, this is perfect for you. Do not underestimate the time involved in getting it to the point where this one is at. Also included is. 1200$ tripplite 3000w inverter, 200$ in stripper chemical, 200$ in all caulk parabond and crack sealer. $300 in stainless cable polyp, 7pin hookup and shore power Hook up.All original screens knobs etc. ZIP DEE AWNINGS IN GREAT SHAPE ALL AROUND.
Trailer was gutted, chassis was in good shape with minimal rust. I etched the frame with por-15 then properly coated it (see photo). Every seem on the outside has been cleaned and caulk removed and is ready for new caulk. AC removed and top vents removed for fantastik fans. All
12v wiring is ran and has been tested, all outside lights work. Trailer pin is not installed and I recomend bringing temp lights to take it home.
I picked this up last year in west PA and drove home 6 hrs and it towed great. Pin straight . Electric brakes worked fine also. One dent on rear fender but besides that body is great and very straight. Tanks look good, everything worked when removed. Perfect candidate for a good restoration. Open for offers or trade for a toy hauler.
