Asking 21,500
Description
One of a kind Airstream Toy Hauler ready for your finishing touches.
All the hard work done = beefed up frame, heavier/taller axles, new heavier flooring on new /additional cross members, new/larger water tanks, new / concealed rear ramp system, metal boxed in wheel wells, and of course hinged rear "bubble" to access garage space.
All the best appliances included = 3 phase refrigerator, microwave, heater, cook top. Bought 2 years ago but stopped renovation before installing interior.
All the original parts retained for installation = awnings on 3 sides, all side trim, owners manual, etc.
Really fun project until I got the finish work stage which is not my strong suit. Decided to let the next DIYer finish to their liking vs my taste.

Extra care was given to preserve the look of the Airstream trailer. All badging was removed and appears
to be in good condition as well as the original awnings from 3 sides of the trailer. Factory replacement
rear corners were installed on both sides and all 4 corner lower body trim parts saved to be
reused/installed. Flanges were added to the new frame rails to allow lower body section to be copied via
new aluminum roll panels. Stock tail light housings were converted to modern LED lights. There is extra
alum sheeting as well as rivets and the special tool to cone the rivets to look like factory. I also have
the original Airstream owner s manual for this trailer which is an interesting look back in time. Also note
that any trim pieces were saving were retained such as center blue stripe, full length body moldings,
battery access door, main door removed while working on trailer , awnings, vent caps, etc. Tire and
rims are original. They hold air but a long haul back to your house should be considered before
purchase. With no internal skin the shell is a little floppy. To transport like this I made a center stand to
support st the hinge point. This firms up the shell greatly and should be able to pull home a reasonable
distance.
When I started this project planned accommodations for a couple no kids with a Queen bed sideways
in the nose and a full shower in the center of the trailer. Kitchen was condensed to the basics for a long
weekend enjoying the toys sand dunes, national parks, etc . I bought all new appliances planned to use
including a large furnace, large capacity roof top AC unit with heat strip , large RV refrigerator, cook
top, sink, etc. All are in new condition and included with trailer.
