Title: 1977 Airstream Argosy 20 - Oregon
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Classic 20 footer Argosy. Overall good condition. Many upgrades, well cared for and maintained. Needs a few minor projects and know how.
The good. We spend $1000 replacing the batteries and having all the tranny leaks sealed. It's clean and has nice upgrades - Alcoa rims, newer Michelin Tires, Flexsteel sofa sleeper and captains chairs and catalytic propane heater. It runs out smooth and powerful and tracks like new with upgraded suspension parts. Very low miles, only 93K, lots of receipts and original manual. Very neat rig and it turns lots of heads. It has a clear title.
The Bad. I inherited this because my Dad passed away. He was a tinkerer and had everything in working order back in 2009. I also couldn't get the water heater, propane cabin heater and Onan generator to fire up but then I'm not a mechanic. I do remember all this stuff was in working order. It also has hail damage on passenger side. Nothing too noticeable but it's there. Also some broken plastic on rear bumper cover and tail light piece. Cracked dash panel, cracked windshield and spidered door window.
