I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Here we have a 1978 Airstream Ambassador Rear Bath in Excellent original exterior condition.
The inside has been gutted out, all panels present to restore, but with the opportunity to furnish the trailer to your own specifications. Floor has been started on, with elevator bolts drilled around with a hole saw, and will need to be replaced with 5/8 ply.
This is a great deal for someone looking to restore a classic RV. The dirty work is done, and now what's needed is to clean up the frame, rivet her back together, and install cabinetry and bedding.
Axles are solid, road lights work, new tires, DMV up to date.
She's ready to go, just need to bring some way to secure the door and the panel for the water heater, maybe 1/8" ply or heavy cardboard and gorilla tape.
This is has been a pleasure, but a job opportunity cross country has us in need of cash, and you won't find a better unit around. We paid $7500, and think this is more than a fair price for the work we have done, and all the supplies we have to get this project going.
First image is of the trailer before work began. Bathroom was totally shot, and had to be scrapped. One outrigger must be re-welded.
Trailer comes with interior panels, but again - NO cabinetry, shower.
