Title: 1976 Airstream Tradewind 25 - California
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
We lived the dream…retired and camped cross country in 2014. Our Airstream has sat since we bought our house in the country and needs a new life. We are the 3rd owners, have title and CA registration/tags. We also have original owners manual, shop manual, brochures for most moving parts and historical info (receipts, etc). The trailer is in better condition than most and is ready to hit the road again. 25' length is easy to maneuver and accepted in most national or state parks.
PLUSES:
This trailer has been babied since it rolled off the Cerritos factory line.
Interior is clean, dry, pest and odor free. It has more original features than replacement, most in great condition. Original wide-wale harvest gold corduroy upholstery on front gaucho (couch that converts to sleep 2) and on each of the center twin beds. Original range, oven, sinks, lighting, gauges, fixtures, formica, curtains, folding passage doors, and more. Old shag carpet removed and replaced with new subfloor and vinyl flooring. Fold away dining table. Newer tall Dometic frig with freezer. All tambour doors functioning, except 1 stuck partly open. Original bins. Rear bath with original flower power window blind and vinyl. Plumbing and electrical systems work well. Twin beds are comfy and much easier to make, get in and out of than rear bed models. Good under and over bed storage. Furnace, hot water, and AC work.
Exterior: Tows beautifully with 2 axles. EAZ_LIFT tow system, electric power jack. Windows re-sealed in 2014. Original Zip Zee awning in great shape, 2 matching Zip Zee camp chairs. New propane tanks. Bearings and bakes replaced in 2013, back up bearings included. Wheel covers and stops. Stabilizing jacks. Tires have 3000 miles on them.
MINUSES:
Couple of very minor dings on outside. Has had minor leaks over its lifetime like every vintage Airstream, does not leak now. Couple of screens need work.
EXTRAS: Can include period Melmac dishes, atomic flatware, Tupperware, tea and coffee pots, exterior sisal rug. You’ll be well on your way to Glamping around the USA. Tow vehicle ¾ ton GMC Sierra 2500 w/super tow package also available.
