I purchased this 76 airstream argosy with Chevy 454 motor in December 2015 for 5500, thinking I d spend a few thousand and make it good to live in part time. Well nearly 7 years later I ve spent a huge amount of money and time on it and am not even nearly done, and I ve run out of resources to keep on keeping on. Am hoping that someone might want a half done project. The engine, drive train etc should all be good spend a few thousand on that and it has brand new carb, exhaust, and tires. Inside my woodworker friend who was collaborating on this with me stripped the whole interior and rebuilt the floor, which had rot in, so that is all solid now. And he started building out custom interior with fsc certified birch plywood. We shifted around the design as I didn t like the bathroom at back, so we now have king sized bed platform at back, and moved the plumbing and framed up a bathroom just to left of door. Took ac off roof as had been planning to cover roof with solar panels which I have . Custom Cabinets and drawers also part way done. Anyway, it needs a lot more work, and I ve already spent many thousands countless hours and still not close to done. Looking for someone who will be happy to take this on and breathe life into this argosy. I m motivated to sell, so made this price lower than I even paid for it before I did all the work.
