1976 Airstream Argosy 28 - Colorado

Title: 1976 Airstream Argosy 28 - Colorado
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

I purchased this Airstream last year to completely renovate - I have put a queen sized bed in the back. Its plumbed with 110V hot water (I still have the gas water heater) and it has A/C, a fridge, 35KW gas furnace and working oven and stove. During last winter in the mountains I was warm and toasty. I have a solar charge controller in it ready to be hooked up to panels. The gas furnace is the electronic ignition newer model that was 400.00 last fall. It needs to be finished inside. It's road worthy, cozy and safe. I transported it from Jamestown in June. During last years flooding - I slept the night away while torrential rains poured and the river was 10 feet away. I was safe and dry.
All of the light bulbs have been replaced with LED bulbs. It was equipped with a wood stove which I have removed. There is a hole cut in a plexiglas window up front (one of the curved ones). This could be an Ideal stationary micro house or it could be fully restored to be an awesome traveling RV. I recently obtained a charging center from an RV with DC fuse panels, charging, and 6 breakers - it needs to be installed.

I also have a source for the window in front

The countertops are custom made from walnut and the cabinetry has been redone in cherry.

It needs more but its a great start.

Included 80# and 2 40 # gas bottles. I have enough oak hardwood to install to have tongue and groove hardwood floors. (its from resource)

Note as of 9/29/2014 - I found a window and a center bathroom from another argosy owner who is parting theirs out. For an additional 900.00 you will have the plumbing hardware shower, toilet, and blackwater tank. This will make this Camper fully equipped.
