Vintage 1973 24ft AIRSTREAM ARGOSY Travel Trailer
This 1973 24ft ARGOSY trailer has Sleeping configuration for 6 with (1) double bed in the front (2) twin beds and (2) Bunk Beds at the mid-compartment. It also has plenty of storage, a kitchenette with retro counter. Most everything is original. New laminate wood flooring was installed and the dining area cushions were reupholstered but keeping the vintage look. The counters were redesigned in black and retro green glass tiles were added to the back splash. Water heater was also restored. (4) Burner stovetop, and a nice bath with full shower in the rear. Included with the purchase is TV/VHS Combo with swivel stand that can rotate for viewing from the rear beds and the front double bed. Also included is Microwave, quilts and pillows custom made to fit rear twin beds and front double bed. Also included is a under the cabinet Radio CD player. Everything is in great working condition except the heater may need some repair. We did not look into it as we never had a reason to turn on the heat. It could be a very minor repair. Argosy was a sister company to Airstream as you will notice that the interior design is almost identical to the Airstream, using the same top of the line manufacturers for the equipment. The original color of an Airstream Argosy is two tone paint and was called the painted Airstream. We had a professional paint the trailer in silver. The original Argosy paint color numbers are still available if you ever decide to paint it back to its original color.
