WHATS KNOWN: 1973 Outlander Rear Bath "double". Purchased 5 years ago and mothballed for future restoration. Last registration in WA was 2012, the last time she was on the road.
WHATS BEEN DONE: Bottom half of inner shell removed in prep for floor replacement. Ceiling inner skin removed to gain access to leaks and wiring. Floor removed in sections and replaced. Frame cleaned and treated / coated in rustolium in every accessible area possible while floor removed. The fiber glass insulation was removed from the belly and belly cleaned. All inner shell wall metal, ceiling metal and outer trim was removed very carefully and saved. The original bath, toilet, heater & AC has been saved & included unnegotionably with the sale.
Clean WA state title.
Has 4 tires that hold air... It rolls...
The floor needs to be bolted to the frame a lot more securely before tow. The shell is secured to the floor but the floor is not so well secured to the frame. Yet. The plan is to spray another sealant and foam insulation, but all infrastructure needs to be finished or roughed in. I have the gray tank from the rear bath but had no plans for a rear bath, opting for a middle half half. Fresh water tank kept but no longer water tight. Also forcefully included with sale. Upper inner walls & fiberglass front & end caps still in place.
average ive seen selling very quickly 4 is about 10,000.00ish...
I did all the work gutting and replacing the floors & cleaning & treating the frame. Not fun. Not easy.
This is ready for someone to make it their own. Shell in great condition. All trim either on or included.
6000... No tire kickers... If you don't have 6000 to spend dont inquire. For those whom know .......
her value & worth are absolutely priceless. She was one of many made just like her in 1973 but now She is a diamond in the rough waiting to be shinned up..
Come shine this Airstream... If you have 6000.00.....
Thanks,
Dusty
