1972 Airstream - South Carolina

Title: 1972 Airstream Ambassador 29 - South Carolina
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

Stella is a 1972 International Ambassador Airstream Trailer asking $17k OBO.. She 's mostly been a one owner AS the majority of her life. I have had the pleasure of owning her for almost 6 years. The previous family, only a couple. The original purchaser was from OH, second KY. She is in impeccable original shape with a few customizations that were tastefully and artfully executed- Original owner was an Engineer. I will attempt to list very thing of interest. Thank you for stopping by, Julie

*Her body is straight, solid, no rust
*Clear coat has been removed in preparation of polishing
*For a 45 yo AS, she has some beauty marks one would expect. Mostly on the under belly (pan)
*Only one thin scrape into the skin to the left of door. Where the decorative flowers are hung
*Axels have recently been check and are good, no rust, no damage
*New tires recently added
*Wheel bearings recently checked and packed
*Brakes professionally checked and are good
*Two 40lb and current aluminum propane tanks
*Electric tongue jack
*We purchased and installed Solar Rock Guard
*Sway-bars never needed, but included in sale (she's so terribly easy to tow)
*Double pane Vista View windows in living area
*Have what remains of the privacy UV covering between VV's
*ALL windows are whole, intact, no cracks and work as they should
*ALL windows have insect screens, pull down shades and curtains
*Windows in last half of AS have privacy screens in addition to the above (don't recall seeing them on other trailers)
*Plumbing upgraded to preferred PEX plumbing. For whatever reason, the tub/shower was never reconnected. Was not an issue for us personally, however, should be an easy fix
*NO TWIN beds. Has one double sometimes referred to as a three-quarter bed
*Custom storage under bed and of course the Tabors underneath that
*Ample storage with closet and dresser
*Bedroom has a small mounted flatscreen tv with built in DVD player w/remotes
*Floor throughout is sold, no soft spots and covered in light colored laminate
*Period correct shag rugs and scatter rugs to be included in sale
*ALL Tambor doors are present, intact and work as they should, however, a couple prefer to be coaxed tenderly
*Custom "tin-like" backsplash behind stove and sink
*Custom cabinetry with sliding doors in kitchen allow for more helpful storage than the factory ones
*Double sink w/one cover for additional work space
*One pull-out and another folding work space around the kitchen stove
*Added Vintage paper cup dispenser, Vintage spinning cup holder, Vintage wall matchstick holder, Vintage wall mounted can opener (purchased from England) and a 3 armed wall towel bar will remain
*Separate gas wall oven (Magic Chef) from the 4 burner gas stove top
*Additional after-market lighting above sink
*ALL curtains, custom curtains, cushions, custom storage/table top ottoman and bed linens and towels (shown in pics) are included
*Fold out table can be doubled in size
*Includes one fold up Vintage chair, perfect for additional seat at the dinner table
*Second flatscreen tv and remote included in living area
*Recently upgraded stereo/radio from cassette player to CD. Has 2 speakers each in living area and bedroom
*Rare floor plan and hard to find "L" shaped sofa
*One side of sofa pulls out to make another double bed
*The other side of the sofa could accommodate a small adult or child, although I've fallen asleep many times watching tv, lol!
*Too many Vintage pieces were sought after and added for authenticity to mention and could be considered in the sale as with our personal belongings that have yet to be removed

I'm sure I've left some detail out and you may still have questions. Feel free to ask them. Congratulations if you make it through the entire list! 😁
