1972 Airstream Overlander 27 - Oregon

Title: 1972 Airstream Overlander 27 - Oregon
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

This is a 27' Airstream Overlander made in the California factory in 1972. It has the International trim line with rear bath and double bed. The body is in overall very good shape. there is one small dent on the street side of the front dome. It is not creased and is not across the seam therefore it should pop out easily. The interior is all there except for the mattress and carpeting. The subfloor in the bathroom is in need of repair (see picture). As there is no ceiling vent in the bath I assume the damage was caused by a leak in the hot water heater which is in the cabinet next to the damage. None of the systems have been tested I would assume being 47 years old that they will all need to be updated or repaired in some manner. The original front gaucho bench/bed is there but certainly will need reupholstering.
This is a great start to a dream trailer as it is all there and not hacked up by anyone.
I purchased this from the son of the original owner, his father brought it up to Oregon in the late 1980s. It was parked on the family farm until his passing. His son was clearing the property and sold it to me. He could not find the title and it is being sold on a bill of sale only. The trailer is in need of a good bath.
I have been restoring vintage Airstreams for over a decade and am the current president of the Oregon Airstream Club. I know what I have, I know what it is worth. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask but do not waste my time with low ball offers.
Asking $6000 obo
