Very nice 1972 Airstream for sale. I purchased this Airstream with the intention of restoring her to new, but living in the city, I just don't have the space required to get the job done. The Airstream is in good condition as it is, just needs a little more work.
Last summer I had new axles installed, new trailer brakes, hubs and tires. Also had a new tongue installed. The camper is completely safe from the tires up, and it pulls down the highway nicely.
The exterior has one dent in the front that I am told is very easy to repair. Otherwise, the exterior is in good shape with a few minor cosmetic flaws.
The interior is in excellent shape with all original components. I have only taken the Airstream out one time, during that trip we did not have any issues with things working except the refrigerator. It is the original refrigerator and I am told that it can be repaired fairly easily. The heater works, there are some minor issues with the
12 volt lights, could be just the bulbs or might need a new fixture hear and there, but overall its fine.
This Airstream is not perfect and there are some repairs to be done, but overall its a great unit that just needs an owner who has a little time to put into her and she will be a real gem.
