Hi folks. I have a rare KT lock for sale from my 1974 Ambassador. It has the key and strike plate. It is missing the inside handle and locking pin, but these are easily available at VTS (
https://www.vintagetrailersupply.com...kset-s/229.htm). There is also some damage to the finish on the outside handle that should be repairable with some sanding and refinishing. When pulling on the handle, the locking shaft does not retract all the way. I believe this is because the lever spring is missing. I have this part, however could not figure out how to replace it so I ended up changing the lock. I understand the roll pins on the vertical handle shaft and the shaft itself need to be removed in order to replace this spring. As you’ll know if you’ve been looking for one of these locks, they retail for $830 (
