1969 Airstream Trade Wind 25

I bought this trailer right before the start of the pandemic and after some renovations lived in it for 4 years! I am amazed that these things are so well built. I was safe and cozy for all that time in something that is more than 50 years old.

A list of things that were professionally repaired while I owned it

New AC installed

Fridge replaced

New lock for the front door

Sealing underbelly

Repaired back and front lights

Screen door repaired

Window screens repaired

Door re sealed

Trim reattached and repainted

Logos repainted

Replaced old plastic fridge vent cover with aluminum replacement

Replaced vent covers for bathroom

Replaced toilet flange seal

I also personally did some repairs.

• Removed the bench seats for a more open floor plan
  
• Installed more bamboo flooring where the bench seats were
  
• Replaced the bench seats across from the kitchen with a built in desk
  
• Replaced the bench seats in the front with a daybed
  
• Made custom curtains
  
• Refinished some of the original cabinetry with a non toxic stain
